Story:

Once upon a time, there lived a floating island at the center of the universe, named “Aero”. This island was once inhabited by monsters, threatening the humans’ way of life. One day, a man known as X (pronounced as “Ki”) created the tool that would be passed down for generations: the Tank. Tanks contain cannons that can fire at monsters, either killing or stunning them to submission. The people of Aero followed X’s example and created their own custom tanks, these people were known as “Tankers”. One day, the king of monsters, “Matias”, arrived to take over Aero. Everyone relied on X to stop him, but he mysteriously disappeared. Despite X’s disappearance, every tanker rallied against Matias and his troops. Unfortunately, Matias captured every single Tanker who fought back against the monsters and turned them into trophies. All…but one.

Enter Xander. The last of the tankers and rumored to be a descendant of X. He awakens within a mysterious tomb with no memory of who he was or how he got here. It’s up to Xander to rescue the trapped Tankers, remember who he is, defeat all the monsters, and save Aero!

Gameplay:

It’s “Bomberman meets Tanks.”  Each tanker has unlimited ammunition! There are various game modes to play around with. There are boxes with items inside. Items that can turn the tide in the battle.

Controls:

Directional keys / Directional buttons - Move

X Key / X button - Shoot

C Key / Y button - Use Item

Modes:

• Solo (Single-Player): 1 Player Only!
  • Story Mode:
    • Travel the broken land of Aero to defeat Matias and to revive all the fallen Tankers!
  • Dungeon Mode:
    • Complete dungeons to earn prizes in other modes!
  • Arcade Mode:
    • Each character has their own story which leads to the character being captured by Matias (except Xander, which has his own arcade story), setting up the plot for Story Mode.
      • Similar to usual arcade machines, there are continues, credits and countdowns.
• Group (Multiplayer):
  • Exhibition Mode: Up to 4 Players!
    • Stock Battle: The last player standing wins!
    • Timed Battle: The player with the most points before time runs out wins!
    • Frag Battle: The player who reaches the target score wins!
    • Death-bound Battle: The player with the least number of deaths before time runs out wins!
    • Crown Battle: The player with the Crown before time runs out wins!
    • Skill Battle: (2 Players only!) The player with the most amount of health wins!
    • Capture the Gems: Collect gems scattered across the map!
  • Team Mode: Up to 4 Players!
    • Team Stock: The primary goal is for your team to eliminate all the lives (stocks) of the opposing team before they eliminate yours.
    • Team Frags: The team with the most amount points wins!
    • Team Death-bound: The primary objective is to ensure that your team collectively has the fewest number of deaths by the end of the match.
    • Capture the Flag: Capture the opponent team’s flag!
  • Tourney: from 4 to 32 players!
    • Create a tournament with special rules!
    • Perfect for large gatherings!
    • Players per battle: 2 Players, 3 Players, 4 Players.
    • You also set CPU in place of a player character.
  • Rotation: from 2 to 4 players! (Only if you have more than 4 players)
    • Create rules for the winner or loser of every match! You can quit this mode at any time.
    • Example:
      • if the winner wins, you must pass the controller to the next person!
      • Or… if the loser loses, you must pass the controller to the next person!
  • Mini Games: Up to 4 Players!
    • Tanker Soccer: Similar to Tanker Volleyball but with a soccer ball and goals. Players use their tanks to score goals and defend their own.
    • Tanker Bowling: Players launch their tanks at a set of pins like in a bowling alley. The goal is to knock down as many pins as possible with a limited number of shots.

Creators Note:

This game is currently in development, so bugs and glitches are bound to happen. Just let me know in the comments below, and I'll try to fix them.

Plus, I'm aware that there's no music at all in this game. (I'm no composer, sadly.)

Demo:

The demo currently contains Exhibition Mode, with Stock, Timed, and Frag battles available.

Release Date:

The demo is currently out.  The full game will be released sometime in 2024.
